Asked Questions

Am I suitable for the True weight loss program?

The True weight loss program is suitable for anybody over 18 years of age with a BMI of 'overweight' or above.

How do I calculate my BMI?

We recommend the online BMI calculator - click here.

(Website is not connected with True weight loss - please use as a general guide)

Who is not suitable for the True weight loss program?

  • Pregnant and breastfeeding women

  • People with an eating disorder

  • People with any history of thyroid problems, pancreatitis or type 1 diabetes (full list available on request).

Don't worry - during your consultation our qualified prescriber nurses will consider your medical history before recommending the True weight loss plan.

How long does the True weight loss program last?

From consultation through to completion, the True weight loss program lasts one month, including a 21 day prescription of a medical appetite suppressant. A further consultation is required before a second prescription will be considered.

Can I drink alcohol while participating in the True weight loss program?

We recommend against any alcohol consumption during the program. Alcohol will inhibit your weight loss and may cause liver problems.

How much does the True weight loss program cost?

The initial program, including your private face-to-face consultation and prescription, a 21 day course of medical appetite suppressant, all supporting documentation and our unrivalled medical aftercare costs £200.

How much weight can I typically expect to loose?

Our clients lost an average of 13.8lbs in three weeks. Most of our clients lose at least half a stone in their first week. 20% of our clients lost more than 14lbs in two weeks.

Can I get my money back if it doesn't work?

So far, the program has worked for every participant, so this shouldn't be a worry. When the program is followed correctly, the reduced calorie intake can only lead to weight loss. We don't offer any guarantees, as clients are still able to control what they consume during the program.

Can I stop the True weight loss program when I reach my goal weight?

Yes - if you reach your goal weight before the 21 day prescription is complete you can stop and return to an ordinary, healthy diet.

Is the True weight loss program safe?

Yes. The True weight loss program is 100% tried, tested and approved by medical professionals. The prescribed appetite suppressant included as part of the program has been approved for this type of use by UK medical governing bodies. Also known as Saxenda, or Liraglutide, the established appetite suppressant is widely established as a common medical treatment for obese and overweight patients.

Will I need to visit a GP before starting the True weight loss plan?

No, our qualified prescriber nurses will look after everything, from your initial consultation, prescription, guidance and advice and aftercare.

What are the side effects?

Side effects can vary; some of our clients observe a mild nausea for the first couple of days, others report mild headaches. We discuss side effects during your face-to-face consultation.

With any other questions, please get in touch via email at One of our prescriber nurses will be in touch within 24 hours.
